Miroslav Mironov has been involved with the Lindy Hop and the Jazz dances for more than  10 years. He values the rawness and the fluidity in the dance, being  present in the moment, the self expression - all paired up with the  strong rhythmical foundation of the Jazz music and the Harlem roots of  the art form. He takes his inspiration from the old clips and all current artists, who dare to bring out their own personal style, freedom of expression, movement and rhythms.

Soon  after Kalina Georgieva got involved in Tap dancing, she also started with Lindy Hop and Jazz. This was 7 years ago. 

She gets inspired by the old clips  and all the jazz music brings. In their weekly classes together with  Miro, she pays special attention to each and every student and makes  sure they develop their own individuality while staying true to the  roots of the dance.

  Tashi Gregorska: Having played clarinet in a big band as a teen I’d developed a penchant for old-time swing music, so when I  happened upon a swing dance night in Bristol in 2010 it all clicked into  place and I was instantly hooked. What I love most about swing dancing  is the diversity and the fun - both in the dance itself and in the  people who make up the swing dance community. I enjoy continuing to  learn and develop my dance practice and love having the opportunity to  share my passion with my students.
When I’m not dancing I am sometimes making props and costumes for theatre and shows (whilst dancing to the radio). 

Sam Dobbie:  The seed was sown at an early age – long  car journeys in my family were accompanied by cassettes of Nat King  Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. But it wasn't until a few  years ago while I was living in Toronto that the love of swing music  transformed into a love of swing dancing. For me, the two are now  inextricably intertwined. When I'm not dancing, I work in Bristol as an  osteopath and also enjoy teaching myself to play various musical  instruments. 

Hot Club of Valletta brings the magic of 1920s European swing, drawing inspiration from the legendary Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz tradition. The band features the violin and saxophone, the soulful accordion, drums, guitar, and the rock-solid double bass. On special occasions, they are joined by the captivating vocalist Larissa B., adding an extra touch of vintage charm to their sound.

With a repertoire blending American jazz standards and Django’s unmistakable style, Hot Club of Valletta will transport you straight to the bustling dance halls of Paris. 

 Swing Nuages is a fun-loving swing and jazz manouche band ensemble born from spirited summer jam sessions back in 2014. Their music is a blend of upbeat, retro tunes inspired by the swinging style of jazz. With Angela Vella Zarb on vocals, Karl Galea and Joshua Bray on guitars, and Diccon Cooper on double bass, horns and percussion, Swing Nuages promises an evening filled with toe-tapping rhythms and unforgettable melodies.
